How to use citronella to repel spiders?
Ive bought myself a 10ml bottle of citronella essential oil. Ive heard you should mix it with water and wipe around on walls in corners etc.
How much water do i need, is it like 2 drops per litre or something like that?
I was thinking of putting some in a spray bottle and spraying it around.
I have never heard of citronella being used to deter spiders. It seems to be advertized to repel mosquitos. as for mixing the oil with water, you could try at least 10 to 20 drops in your spray bottle. But the best spider repelant is to not give them cozy quiet corners to hide in….vacuum them out regularly! They rely on their fantastic eye sight and sensitivity, not their sense of smell to find food. Good luck.
